Andy

Andy Frey is a professional PHP developer based in Tempe, AZ. Andy has been on the Information Technology scene for over 20 years. He has been involved with all aspects of IT, from hardware to software to networks to consultation. Today, Andy develops PHP-based websites and web-based applications that utilize JavaScript and Flash for higher levels of interactivity for users. MySQL is Andy's database of choice. Andy is also a big proponent of Open Source philosophies and Unix-based operating systems, such as Apple's OS X and Linux.

On the hardware and networking side, Andy was a Novell Certified NetWare Engineer and Cisco router geek. He has been designing and installing networks since 1987, including a 190-mile fiber-optic network for a school district north of Detroit which connected 7 local school systems and dozens of school buildings and public libraries. Andy is an expert Linux and OS X administrator.

Andy has been working with Internet systems and technologies since 1993. He has developed websites and multi-user applications for countless organizations of various sizes over the years. He is the CEO of AZ WebDev, Inc., a small web development firm based in Tempe, AZ.
